Jaz Dhami is coming to Central!

Jaz Dhami, the UK's finest Punjabi Vocalist is coming to Central!

To celebrate Holi Festival of colours, Jaz Dhami will be performing on our main stage from 5pm-6pm on Sunday 24 March.

His 2012 smash hit 'High Heels' has over 80 million views on YouTube, making it the biggest Indian Independent release of the decade by an artist outside of India.

June 2015 led to another first in the UK Desi music scene. Jaz was announced as the first British Asian BBC Music ambassador, and was also invited to perform alongside the Scottish Symphony Orchestra to mark the BBC’s first annual Music Day.

Prior to this performance Jaz Dhami and his full live band had performed live at the BBC Scotland headquarters for the live audience. In these two days in Glasgow, Jaz Dhami showed his versatility as a singer and performer – from belting out Bhangra anthems, to Bollywood chart toppers and soulful numbers, he proved why he is the best Desi artist in the UK.

From the beginning of his career, Jaz has been picking up accolades, from Best Newcomer (UK Asian Music Awards 2009) Best Male (Brit Asia awards 2010) Best Desi Act (UK Asian Music Awards 2011) Best Song High Heels (PTC Punjabi 2012), Best Male (Brit Asia awards 2013) Best Lyrics for Meh Punjabi Boli Ah (2013), Best Song Zulfa (Brit Asia awards 2014) over the years.

Catch Jaz and so many more great artists at our Holi Celebrations Sunday 24 March!
